Exploration of the Historical Part of Athens: (4-5 Hours)
Athens is one of the most historical cities in Europe, where Democracy was born and holds the title for being an advanced “center” of Philosophy, Culture and History.
A Walk Through the Heart of History
Athens is well-known for its historical center and how everything is well-attached to each other.
The historical sites of the city, are all very close to each other, allowing visitors to view all the sites just in a few hours and get a sense of how the majesty of Greece was laid out. We will start by visiting the famous Acropolis site, for you to explore the Parthenon and have one of the nicest panoramic views of the city and then we will continue the walk to the Ancient Agora of Athens, which was the heart of the city back in the Ancient Times for all matters.
After that we will continue with the Roman Agora, as we continue our way towards the Hadrian`s Library for our last stop of the tour, visiting one of the hotspots for one of the greatest emperors of Greece, that helped the country modernize in major way.
The tour will end right next to Monastiraki Square, so after your guide can recommend you a very nice spot for you to have lunch.
